How do you feel sad that John Edwards as her husband suffered Elizabeth Edwards? Of course John Edwards is very grieved at the death of Elizabeth Edwards who has assisted him long enough.

Elizabeth Anania Edwards Biography Profile (born Mary Elizabeth Anania) (July 3, 1949 – December 7, 2010 was an attorney and a best-selling author. At the time of her death, she was separated from her husband John Edwards, the former U.S. Senator from North Carolina who was the 2004 United States Democratic vice-presidential nominee.

Elizabeth was the mother of four children with her husband John: Wade (1979–96), Catharine (b. 1982), Emma Claire (b. 1998), and Jack (2000). Wade was killed in April 1996 when he lost control of his Jeep while driving from his home in Raleigh to the family's beach house near Wilmington.

Three weeks before his death, Wade Edwards was honored by First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton at the White House as one of ten finalists in an essay contest sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Voice of America. Wade, accompanied by his parents and his sister, met North Carolina Senator Jesse Helms. After Wade died, Helms entered his essay and his obituary into the Congressional Record.

Following Wade's death, Elizabeth and John had more children: Emma Claire was born when Elizabeth was 48, and Jack was born when she was 50. She was pregnant with Emma Claire during her husband's 1998 Senate race. Emma Claire and Jack were born in Chapel Hill, where the family now resides. After John's January 21, 2010 public admission that he fathered a child with another woman, Elizabeth legally separated from him, intending to file for divorce after North Carolina's mandatory one-year separation.

When the world learned about the extramarital affair former Senator John Edwards had with a woman retained during his campaign bid, it was numbing, but bearable. To many people, it was just another Washington politics-induced affair, similar to the almost daily relationship scandals in Hollywood. After all, the world forgave Bill Clinton in the Monica Lewinsky scandal, right?

But, add in the fact that a devout wife of three decades who was in a fight to save her life from breast cancer, would discover that her husband was having an affair right up under her nose. Yea, it's bad, but here's where the kaboom comes in: John Edwards is still Elizabeth Edwards' husband, and til death do they part.

They were separated and for good cause, but they never parted formally. Apparently, he still had love for her, as he was present when Elizabeth Edwards died this morning. After 32 years of marriage, despite the affair, they must have found a way to salvage a friendship. He was a monster, but perhaps she wanted him there at the final moment as it was the right thing to do. You'll see why next.

Tragedy is nothing new to the Edwards family. When they lost their 16-year-old-son, Wade, Elizabeth Edwards retreated from the world, as any parent would do at the loss of a child. She and her husband maintained their partnership following the death of their son, and it is part of what got her through that tough moment in her life.

When cancer came along, her faith was tested yet again. She and John Edwards had two other children later in her life when she approached 50. Somehow, children become the medicine one needs to live a life fulfilled, and she is sure to have been here this long because of the love of her children, not necessarily for John Edwards.

Hopefully spirits Elizabeth Edwards gets its rightful place in the side of God. All sins forgiven her Lord, and all good deeds there be light in nature. Amien!
